The Paranet Group has selected the Milwaukee Center For Independence (MCFI), which serves individuals with disabilities, as its charity of choice.
MCFI's programs include its northeast Commercial Services assembly and packaging facility, located in a 65,000-square-foot building at 4120 N. Holton St. in Milwaukee, just minutes from the I-43 expressway.
MCFI is a single source for all your packaging, assembly and fulfillment needs. It employs men and women with special needs, offering them an opportunity to earn a paycheck, develop a greater level of responsibility, self-esteem and independence, AND to perform at higher level than the typical "sheltered workshop". This facility features varying levels of appropriate automation to ensure quality and pace and to limit stress for workers.
One of MCFI's many satisfied end-use customers is Milwaukee Public Schools, who consume as much as 23,000 breakfasts a day, packaged by MCFI's clients and MPS students and distributed by Sysco Food Service.
MCFI offers packaging program advice, program coordination, machine packaging, light assembly, literature fulfillment, and hand bindery. Using the latest technologies, MCFI can provide shrink wrapping, over-wrapping, blister and skin packaging or radio-frequency sealing.
